We are very proud to announce that six 10th and 11th grade students from Austin Soundwaves at EAPrep have been selected to participate in the first-ever national youth orchestra for El Sistema-inspired programs in the U.S.
Students submitted audition videos and personal statements and were selected from a large and diverse pool of applicants.
These students will participate in an all expenses paid music and leadership emersion experience in Aspen, Colorado for a week this summer. The week-long sessions will culminate in a performance at the prestigious Aspen Music Festival. Congratulations to the following students:
